When and where are we getting married?
June 8th 2024
The cermony will be in Borlunda Kyrka and will be followed by a dinner and party at Ellinge Slott, which is located nearby.
Dress code
On Friday the dress code is summery and happy. We hope to subdue the weather to match our vibe.
On Saturday the dress code is Formal or Black-Tie Optional (we had to google this too).
For men, Martin said it well: “Innebär "Black tie optional" att om man har en smoking så ska man använda den, men man behöver inte köpa en ny om man inte har en?” <— EXAKT!
For women, it’s ankle or floor length, everything from spaghetti straps to long arms, as long as it looks formal. Summery colors are encouraged!
You are welcome to wear any color, but please avoid white throughout the weekend.
Kids
We love your kids, but this day we want to celebrate with our adult friends.
When should we arrive?
Friday: If you want to come by Ellinge Slott for BBQ & beers, you’re welcome from 18:30!
Saturday: Please be at Västra Stationstorget in Lund at 12:45 if you are taking our bus. If you are organising your own transportation, please arrive at Borlunda Kyrka by 13:30.
Gifts
The greatest gift is the gift of friendship, and your presence is the biggest gift we can ask for.
We truly don’t expect gifts.

Petter Wihlbäck Mathisen
Newly wed himself, the evening’s toast master is a close friend to the bride and groom, playing a central role in their London life, and as fate would have it as a neighbor in Sundbyberg.
He’s likely the person at the wedding who grew up the furthest north (although he was born in Halmstad) and can be counted on for great stories and fire-making.
Lover of golf, beer and Marie. Respectable bowler, natural entertainer and Nicki Minaj impersonator.
Marianne Fjelberg
The toast madame of the evening, like the bride, is both Norwegian and Swedish. She often dazzles in conversation with her uncanny ability to switch between the languages, without missing a beat.
Marianne grew up in Oslo where she got to know the bride, and later moved to Stockholm where she also became close friends with the groom.
Lover of board games, artisanal Italian cocktails and Jonathan, language chameleon and mathematics patent holder.
